February President's Message

Okay you guys, you know what month it is!  February, the month that has that special day you had better not forget, Valentine's Day!  It's time to show that special someone how much you love them. You can never go wrong with flowers, candy, or jewelry.  How about taking her out to dance.  She will love that!

There are several opportunities to dance this February.  The Platte Valley Dancers and Heartland Dancers are having a joint dance on February 11 at the Holdrege City Auditorium.  The dance is from 7:30 to 10:30 and you are encouraged to bring a dessert or appetizer to share.  The DJ will be InKahoots.  You are guaranteed this dance will be a great Valentine treat!

On February 14, Kearney High is hosting their rescheduled Big Band Dance at Sunrise Middle School.  Proceeds benefit the band program, and the kids do a great job with the music and love seeing you out on the dance floor!

There are two opportunities to dance on February 18.  Bill and Rosella Meier are hosting a dance at Meier's Ballroom in Gibbon from 8 to 11:30.  The $50,000 Dance Club is also hosting a dance from 7:30 to 11 p.m. at the Kearney Eagles, featuring the band Bases Loaded.  Both dances are open to the public.

So, make her day and take her dancing!  P.S.  Don't forget the flowers.
